A member asked:

Can a nerve be hit when drawing blood?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Really quite rare: Yet, I have a few patients who had a problem with median nerve over anterior elbow level, antecubital fossa. I think my experience is more than unusual and suspect the odds of this happening must be under 1 in 100, 000 venapunctures.
