Visible changes?: If there are no visible changes it may require time for the area to heal. Soft tissue injuries sometimes respond to goth kola or cnetellia asiatacia which speeds up healing.

Elbows: are full of blood vessel, neves, tendons , ligaments, fi an elbow is sore a proper exam is needed. An orthopedic surgeon or a hand and upper extremity surgeon typically knows the most about elbows however one should start with their PCP , to rule out a thrombosed vein, phlebitis in the vein and other local issues. Yes there are superficial nerves but with that there are distal symptoms
