Azithromycin: I would not recommend crushing asithromycin tablets in that it could have an effect of how the drug is absorbed from your GI tract into your bloodstream. If you can't swallow the tablets, Azithromycin is available as a liquid that is flavored for children but certainly can be used by adults.
