It is possible for..: A person with a bleeding disorder like vwf def to get a tattoo, but precautions are warranted. If you normally utilize DDAVP (desmopressin) or similar adjunctive to address bleeding, it's advisable to administer doses the day of and following the tattoo to mitigate/prevent bleeding. Using a tattoo artist with designated training in infection control is essential. Not my cup of tea, but others have done it.
