A member asked:

Is it possible for people with von willebrand disease to get tattoos?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: About 1% of humankind has at least mild vWF. If you're presently being managed on medication by a hematologist, get his/her thoughts. If it's not been a huge problem for you, and your physician has released you, then go ahead. vWF involves the blood itself and its platelets, while the tattoo involves the deep skin.
