Could people with von willebrand disease get tattoos?

Yes, but....: Most people with von willebrand disease (VWD) do not know they have it. Many of them get tattoos and have no bleeding problems. If someone has one of the rarer forms of VWD and has a history of bleeding problems, i would recommend that they coordinate with their hematologist if they really wanted to get a tattoo.
