24 hr collection: Collect all urine produced over 24 hours. Empty ; discard first morning urine, then collect all the urine you produce for next 24 hrs up to ; including next morning at same time as u started day before. Take entire 24 urine sample to a lab where they can measure protein content. Or measure 24 hr volume ; just take or send a small sample informing lab of 24 hr urine volume so they can calculate it.
