Do i need to call an exterminator after being bitten by sand fleas?

Not necessarily: Sand fleas are often seen in groups on or near beaches ; during a high tide ; can be observed hopping about ; making a high pitched sound. At daytime they are usually buried in the sand. Normally, you get bit at those locations as opposed to having an infested home.
