A member asked:

Should i call 911?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

When to use 911...: One should call 911 ONLY in emergency situations. Some countries use 112, 999, or other number. An emergency is a situation that requires "immediate" help from the police, the firemen, or an ambulance. If you are in doubt of whether a situation is an emergency you should call 911. That said, 911 is NOT a taxi service for taking mildly ill people to the doctor. A regular taxi provides that service.
