Also there is a presription medication you can be given called atarax, which works really well for intense itching. As far as creams go, over the counter Benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream may help with the itching. Old bed bug bites can flare up, but the timing is a little long for that. Lastly, if it is bed bugs, then you need to consider the source and if they were completely erradicated. Call the exterminators and find out if they will come back under some type of guarantee.
