Can a child go into cardiac arrest from having a svt?

Eventually: Svt causes the heart to pump so fast that it cannot fill the chambers between beats.As a result, it is not pushing enough blood around to do the bodies work, and can result in shock (failure to provide the needed nutrients for function) which would evenually result in death.
