Can a child go into cardiac arrest from having a svt?

Pediatrics 47 years experience
Eventually: Svt causes the heart to pump so fast that it cannot fill the chambers between beats. As a result, it is not pushing enough blood around to do the bodies work, and can result in shock (failure to provide the needed nutrients for function) which would evenually result in death.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
