OK But Not Needed: Peroxide tastes pretty awful, so that's why most people don't use it in their dental irrigation device. It can also harm some internal components of these devices over time. Full-strength peroxide straight from the bottle can irritate your eyes and nose if you're not careful with the spray. It can also bleach your clothes. If you're going to use it, you should dilute it with water at least 50:50.

Hydrogen peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide should only be used in dilution with water or a mouthrinse(30% hp, 70% water or rinse). Yes it can be used in the waterpik. However, limiting everyday use to 1-2 weeks then 3 daysper week therafter. The possibility of free radical formation in the saliva (which are suspected in pre-cancerous tissue changes) is greater with prolonged use of hydrogen peroxide.
