No: A waterpic used properly will not damage a crown or any other tooth. It is an effective tool to enhance your oral health. If there is decay or other problems then you may have some sensitivity and you need to see your dentist.

Waterpiks: Waterpiks cannot damage fillings or crowns. However, they can damage the gums if used improperly or on too strong a power level, especially when there are existing periodontal problems. Further, they do not replace the use of proper tooth brushing or flossing and should only be used in addition to TB and f. It is best to discuss oral hygiene techniques with your own dentist.
