Toothache&ref. pain: Tooth pain can be referred ot ears and or head. It all depends on the extent the nerve to the tooth is involved. Pain can be referred to any part of the surrounding area where the nerve of the root also innervates.

Usually infection: Often the location of the tooth infection or abscess will refer pain to the head or ear.
