Give it some time: It's not too uncommon for this to happen. If the little bony spurs are loose, your body will reject them like a sliver. Some are still connected to other bone and if they don't resolve in a few weeks, sometimes the dentist will have to go back and remove them.

Probably the : Simplest way would be to return to the treating dentist to have addressed. Bony spicules can sometimes occur post extraction. They will work themselves out to the surface and can be removed as well. Hope this helps.

Bone spurs: It is not uncommon to see this, some will work their way to the surface and are easily removed some will require some surgical removal, and although not common, some may work their way out years after the extraction. I had a patient who had a bone spicule emerge through a wisdom tooth extraction region 30 years after the extraction.
