A member asked:

Is it normal to experience a strange taste in the mouth 3days after bone graft following tooth extraction?

It depends: Did the dentist cover over the bone graft with a membrane? The bad taste may be from blood or food being caught or even from the antibiotics or peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) rinses you should be taking to get the bone graft to properly work

Check with dentist: Could be normal but check with your dentist for a post-op check to be sure
