A member asked:

Do boys grow after age 19?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many grow wider: Linear growth ends in most males by 17-18.A few will grow into their early 20's. Linear growth depends on open growth centers in the long bones, which close under the influence of pubertal hormones. An x-ray of the wrist and hand can be assessed for open growth centers which would confirm more growth potential or that it is done.
