A member asked:

My dad said that boys can grow taller up to age 25 at most is this true?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rare but possible: The growth centers in the long bones determine final stature. Hormones of puberty signal the centers to begin closure and most males finish by 17-18. In a few with delayed puberty and growth, the centers remain open and an xray of the wrist and hand will show a person has open centers more like a 14 -15 year old.I've never seen one grow taller after 20.
