It is fine: Eating oats or other grains has not effect on gout.

Gout diet: Diet does not play as great a role in worsening or helping gouty symptoms as is commonly thought. Diets high in alcohol, particularly beer, shellfish or organ meats pose the greatest risk. Fruits, grains, vegetables and dairy products do not raise the risk of gout for most people. Enjoy your oatmeal!
