Not possible: Scar tissue can be reduced by excision or other scar reduction techniques but it can never be removed only replaced with possibly a "better" scar.

Depends: Depends on the cause of the scarring, location and extent. Options may include surgical reduction and reconstruction, use of stromal/platelet concentrate placement in scar tissues to help increase the blood supply and soften. Once scars are formed, it is not possible to completely remove them regardless of technique tried. Lasers and other devices can occasionally help reduce the signs/effects.
