A member asked:

Are the bottom two front teeth supposed to tooth the two front central incisors because it feels like there is pressure on side teeth. front no touch?

Front teeth: Oftentimes the lower front teeth do not touch the upper front teeth, and that is ok. It is optimal for these teeth to lightly touch when biting straight down, and to carry the majority of biting pressure when the lower jaw slides forward..

Ideally yes: But everyone's bite is different and can even change on a day to day basis. Have your own dentist take a look and check out your bite. Sometimes small adjustments can make a big difference. See if there is a reason why you feel more pressure on certain teeth and less on others.
