Normal: It is normal to wake up hungry. At age 34, if you are not underweight, your hunger is you body's way of encouraging you to eat breakfast. If you were an underweight teenager, i would recommend eating a snack just before bedtime tooth brushing. For adults, i don't recommend that. Just don't worry. Enjoy a healthy breakfast.

"Breakfast": Waking up hungry is why the first meal of the day is called "break fast." you have not eaten for possibly 8-10 hours or so. Hunger is natural. No worries, as long as you feed yourself well.
