Yes : The body breaks down Erythromycin to get rid of it. Grapefruit can decrease how quickly the body gets rid of erythromycin. Taking grapefruit juice or grapefruit along with Erythromycin might increase the effects and side effects of it. Erythromycin gel is absorbed although not as significantly as the tablets so the interaction should be little if any.
