Event monitor for 2wks. showed nothing, awaiting results of echo. i don't understand why i have chest pain, racing heart and tachy standing up by 30 b?

An increase of: Heart rate during standing position could be an autonomic dysfunction. I am guessing cardiac cath was negative. If 2d echo neg i will recommend a stress test to see how you react to exercise. Diabetes, dehydration, and possibly BP medicine reaction. Do not change anything. See your doctor and talk about your symptoms.

Cardiac monitor shows all kinds of things, not enough for Dr. to be concerned. Ct scan & echo good (3 mild leaky valves.) Daily chest pain that comes and goes, especially with exertion. Family history of heart disease. Any other tests, or suffer?
