Bugle?: Pain and numbness in legs. Recommend conservative treatment and if no improvement see neurologist.

Instability: Have your md check for instability (dynamic flexion extension views). Pain down both legs is not usually caused by a lumbar disc bulge. Sitting is never good for acute back and leg pains. Standing, walking or lying down ok.
