Muscle strain: When you are pregnant the hormone elevation, especially progesterone relaxes your muscles. You probably overworked and exaggerated a potential bulging disc in your lumbar region. Rest, ice and tylenol (acetaminophen) is recommended initial treatment.

Physical activity: Sometimes overdoing it requires some pampering. You can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) every 3-4 hours as needed. You can sit and soak in the tub, ( don't forget the bubbles). You could have the father of the baby rub your back. Remember that as the pregnancy progresses many things change, including your center of gravity. Make sure you take care of yourself first.
