Ulnar nerve: The nerve in your elbow groove supplies sensation to the little finger. Resting your arm on hard surfaces and putting pressure on this nerve can cause this symptom. Try resting your elbow on a towel or pillow will alleviate your symptoms most of the time.

Nerve irritation : If this is just isolated one finger on and off tingling it could be repetitive use of hands on electronic devices, improper ergonomic while work or exercise . Sometimes is may be from cervical ( neck) spine - muscle spasm or tightness . If any other symptoms or doubt - see your md.
