A member asked:

I have been detected to have cytstitis cystica and my latest urine report is perfectly ok. what treatment is advised and how much time will it take fo?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cystitis cystica: Cystitis cystica is a benign (noncancerous) change that is thought to be a reaction to irritation and not a specific disease of its own. Sometimes it forms a small bump or a polyp-like area. Therefore a urologist might biopsy it to make sure it is not cancer. There is no evidence that it becomes cancerous over time. So it may not need to be cured unless there are other bladder problems.
