Treatment: Positive quantiferon test indicates you have either active or latent infection. You will most likely need treatment. The choice of drugs and length of therapy depends on chest x-ray and sputum (if you have any) test findings. It also depends on if you have any symptoms. You need to see either a pulmonologist or an infectious disease doctor.
