See an orthopedist: Get your knee examined by a bone and joint expert and they will then determine if there are further studies that need to be performed. Write down a full history of things that may have happened to your knee and bring this with you. Good luck.

Knee pain: Many possibilities, need more history and exam. Knee pain can range from degeneration, trauma, infection (lyme, std) to arthritis (gout, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc), to structural pain, ligament damage, fluid build up, etc. Go speak to your doc. Good luck.
