Painful Bumps: Without seeing the bumps it is difficult to make a diagnosis. Most bumps do not hurt unless they are infected or unless you have shingles. Let a dermatologist examine your bumps.

Needs to be seen: It's hard to see your lower back - you need to be examined. You might have an infection. Get checked!
