I fainted while driving. the hospital tilt table results said i might have experienced a "vasodepressor syncopal event". can just sitting cause that?

Unlikely: Vasodepressor syncope would be very unlikely to occur when sitting down and driving. This is concerning and another cause should be sought. No driving until a cause is identified.

DOZED OFF?: Could have been arrythmia- irregular heart beat or simply dozed off from sleep apnea. You need further testing.
