Evaluation: Braces are the gold standard, but they are not the only tooth moving appliances in an Orthodontist's armamentarium. While a GP may only do Invisalign, an Orthodontist has multiple choices at his/her disposal. Go see an Orthodontic specialist for an (usually free) initial exam. Orthodontist can then talk to you about treatment options/costs/ appliances/etc.
