See Physician: See your physician or otolaryngologist (ear, nose & throat specialist). Possibly you have a sinus problem or infection that needs to be taken care of.

Phantosmia: Phantosmia, olfactory hallucination, may stop as mysteriously as it starts but you might want to find an ENT with experience in this condition. Or, a neurologist as some brain tumors or very early parkinson's can do it. You are probably past the age that schizophrenia could be the cause. Stomach? Sinuses?: You may be experiencing stomach acid problems. Or if you were taking certain medications like antibiotics will or can leave a taste in your mouth. Also a sinus condition like an infection can drain and leave a bad taste in your mouth. Next time you get. This..See if you are or we're taking meds or if your sinuses are misbehaving.
