Normal: The menstrual period can vary over time. 3 to 5 days is average for the period but up to 10 days is considered normal.

Likely normal: It is common for cycles to vary in interval, duration and flow. Each woman is different and even the same women may vary month to month. It is more worrisome if your cycles get longer and heavier, not lighten as you age.
