Not exactly: Splenic flexure syndrome is a term used to describe bloating, muscle spasms of the colon, and upper abdominal discomfort thought to be caused by trapped gas at the splenic (on the left side) flexure in the colon. This has not been reported after colonoscopy, but injury to the spleen has been described following colonoscopy, usually manifest by abdominal pain, low blood pressure and shock in some.

NO: No it will not cause it. You may have some cramping etc after the colonoscopy due to the air put in the colon curing the colonoscopy.
