For infants: I will answer part of your questions. For infants: rsv, human metapneumovirus, pertussis, influenza, and may be parainfluenza viruses.

Immunocompromised...: Infants and the elderly in general have less robust immune systems to fight off infections. Respiratory illnesses are common and can progress to life threatening conditions. That is why flu shots are so important for the elderly to get, as well as the general population, so they do not spread the virus to these vulnerable populations.
