Maybe: Rsv is known to be associated with future asthma in the infant. It is not well understood whether the RSV causes one to have wheezing in their future or whether they have a genetic predilection to wheezing. Either way those that get RSV as an infant often have asthmatic symptoms later

Increased predispo: Infants born prematurely have fewer breathing units called alveoli. As he grows his lungs will continue to add new lung units which will help minimize any early damage caused by RSV infection of the lungs. Some premature infants with RSV may have an increased predisposition to wheezing later in childhood. Your physician will monitor his growth and lung development. PRMG fax 8582599689 for?s
