Not usually: Nasal flaring is usually associated with other respiratory symptoms such as wheezing, bronchitis, airway obstruction, pneumonia etc. However nasal congestion can cause nasal flaring. Mgt: Nasal flaring is a symptom of associated respiratory problems. It would be helpful to see a short video of the problem, which you can show to your PCP. Observe your baby's breathing pattern while asleep and report any problems.
