Why do my knees feel so warm?

Dr. Amir Khan answered

See orthopedist: There could be many reasons for 'heat' in the knee. Injury, infection and inflammation are common reasons for heat. Both traumatic and non-traumatic causes such as sprains, strains, bursitis, tendinitis, early arthritis/wear/tear, ligament injury, meniscus tear, rheumatologic diseases can cause inflammation and 'heat'. See an orthopedic surgeon for clarity in diagnosis.
