Itch: Pressure and warm sites tend to be susceptible areas for rash. Any rash can be itchy, although hives tend to be red, raised and mosquito-bite like rashes that are very itchy. Topical anti-itch cream is a start. If it doesn't resolve or spreads, see a doctor for a true diagnosis.
