A member asked:

Can a person be allergic to hydrogen peroxide?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Hydrogen peroxide, like many other materials, has the potential of causing skin irritation. It, in itself, is probably not an allergen. However, it is feasible that when cleaning the skin or wound with hydrogen peroxide that the skin is more sensitive to other agents (a soap or lotion for example) that could cause a contact dermatitis.
