Regurgitation : Infants are more sensitive to any type of drug(which oralgel is). If the infant swallows some of the gel which gets diluted into the saliva, a normal response of rejection occurs and the baby "spits up".

It can: Oral gel can be used to numb your baby's gums while teething, but it does not last very long. Try giving a cold or frozen washcloth to chew on, or teething rings. Children's tylenol (acetaminophen) can be used to ease the pain follow the directions.
