Yes.: Provigil's benefits may need to be augmented by a larger dose, a 2nd Provigil dose in the day, and/or addition of another med. You should also know that Nuvigil is a more long-lasting form of provigil. Obviously, you should attempt non-med solutions to whatever your particular adhd-related problems are. Call your Doc: The physician who evaluated you and initiated treatment will be expecting a followup call if the prescribed treatment is not working. Modification of dosing or a change in medication is common with that diagnosis.Contact during regular office hours is best.

Go up on the dose: Try a higher dose, after consulting with your doctor. If that is not working, then try one of the other medications. Usually you can find one that works really well.

Talk to doctor: Provigil does not really work very well for adhd over time. Your doctor may prescribe a stimulant or strattera (atomoxetine).

Provigil: Provigil is really for sleepiness and shiftwork issues. Some physicians use it for adhd only when more conventional medications can't be used. Discuss with your doctor. Also make sure you dont have underlying sleep condition.
