Probably yes: Although cinnamon has been touted to cure diabetes I do not think an evidence controlled study has been started to prove this. I am not aware of a contraindication of taking cinnamon with metformin. Ask your pharmacist to recheck.

Diabetes & cinnamon.: Supplementing cinnamon would be fine while taking Metformin. May help bring your sugars down a bit more.
