Yes but . . . : How do you know your diabetes medication isn't working? Do you check your sugars w/glucometer? What/when was most recent a1c? How many glycomet are you taking? Try to focus on nutrition first rather than adding more drugs. Max dose of metformin is 2, 550mg/d. Talk to your doc about your options. And be sure your kidneys are ok.
