This can be serious: Without knowing your overall condition and other associated symptoms, it would be difficult to diagnose this, but this should be checked asap, because of the risk of referred cardiac pain. You may be having pain related to intermittent problems with your heart getting enough oxygen. If it is not cardiac in nature, that can be worked up when it is known your heart is not the cause. See your md.

Abscessed Tooth?: The throbbing pain has me think it is an abscessed tooth. Have you ever had pains like that before? In that area? Do you have any swelling the swelling of a tooth on the lower could lead to breathing problems. Please see a dentist and get this resolved.
