Incise and drain : Chalazions can take months to resolve and consistent warm compresses and antibiotics like Azasite can many times resolve them. However in some cases the granuloma that forms around the lipid core requires surgical drainage.

Have reexamination : Chalazia that don't respond to conservative treatment (warm compresses/massage/lid hygiene up to 4 times daily for 2-3 weeks) may require reexamination to reassure diagnosis is correct and consideration for incision and drainage. Ocassionally an intralesional steroid injection may be administered. So call your eye md and discuss your progress and treatment options.
