Heals rapidly: Chalazion removal is done from the inside of the lid using an inverting clamp. The inside opening can touch the eye with a sensation like a foreign object. This should rapidly disappear in a 1-3 day interval. If persistent after that, especially if the vision is affected, then see the ophthalmologist who did the surgery.
