Many: The nervous system is very complex and courses through our entire body. The brain and spinal cord are the main parts of the central nervous system. Peripheral nerves course to specific parts of our body to help move muscles etc. And we also have the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems as well.

Many nerves: The brain and spinal cord could be considered "main nerves" but there are also hundreds of other nerves throughout the rest of the body. You may want to look at these websites for an overview of some of the nerves: http://goo.Gl/muicxq http://www.Innerbody.Com/image/nervov.Html.
